they didn't want it. simple as that. if they had problems with morale or motivation than they just didn't fucking want it. 10/15/2003-9:50pm
I agree, even as a cubs fan I could see their heads weren't in it since that foul ball. That was a huge turning point. It was followed up with a costly error and then a whole shitload of runs got pissed away. It continued straight through into game seven. But I wouldn't really call it folding to pressure, they just got ahead in the series and lost focus. 10/15/2003-9:47pm
No what happened with that foul play is that it exposed the Cubs gutless/spineless true selves, as they sat around looking for an excuse for the next 11 innings, meanwhile the Marlins never gave up. Bartman didn't throw the game 5 complete game 2 hitter, or score 8 runs in game 6 or 9 in games 1 and 7, but hey, if you're looking for an excuse just blame yourselves as fans for putting up too much pressure and go kill yourself. 10/15/2003-9:35pm
florida should be sold back to spain 10/15/2003-8:44pm

BTW, Steve is doing a shame dance..............for life. 10/15/2003-6:12pm
Hello 007, your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to make Steve Bartman's life as miserable as possible for the rest of his life. It would be 95 years, but he'll never live that long. Good luck, 007. 10/15/2003-5:59pm
it's hard to parasail in any other fashion but casually. You just kinda hang there and look around. I was aiming for some sarcasm though, perhaps "non-chalantly" would have been better 10/15/2003-3:45pm
It's called a demoralizing chain reaction. He's not a fucking kid for one. Would you like to be called a kid? Yeah, fuck off. Second, people sitting in the first two rows anywhere in the stadium KNOW there is a possibility of a foul ball coming to them that can be caught by your HOME team. Hence why you are supposed to shy away if it comes near you and is playable. Fuck bunny should have known this. Capatalizing on mistakes is what helps win games. Ramirez and his diving catch on the bunt for example. Laying up a ball that can be caught in foul territory also. That was huge. If you miss those opportuniutes, it plays in the heads of the players , what if. This sent Gonzo into making an error that could have gone for a double play. His head was out of it. Blah blah blah, 8 runs score. 10/15/2003-1:52pm
MY ASS... you nazi 10/15/2003-11:44am
