| the only reason I even bother to post my responses is because nobody posts articles to things they don't at least partially agree with. And whoever it is that posted it needs to stop eating up conspiricy theories, just because someone who's expertise are marginal at best, throws together some diagrams and timelines that make it seem the least bit plausible. I don't always eat everything that comes out of the white house, but I have at least some faith in the faa and ntsb's ability to report facts. 09/09/2003-10:49am | ||
| the parodical nature of the "find the boeing" article is about on par with it's maturity. A giant tube of aluminum and jet-A going several hundred knots into the ground isn't going to leave behind a flashing neon sign that says "I was a once a 757!" Does anyone remember the Valuejet crash in Florida several years back where it took investigators almost a week just to figure out where the plane even went down? The projections of the plane onto the building are laughable. the plane was not buzzing along 5ft off the ground up until impact, and it was not being flown by someone with thousands of hours in it. It would follow that the plane likely crashed half into the ground, half into the building doing some but minimal damage to the building aside from causing a major fuel fire. I'd advise this individual to read a book on aircraft maneuvers, or if that's too rough, a book on geometry would likely suffice. 09/09/2003-10:43am | ||
| All I get out of the latter article from cooperative research is that it's trying to say the hijacking of four aircraft and the use (ar attempted use) of said aircraft as projectiles was not handled with 100% efficiency by the military during the hour or so in which it happened. And that a year or two later they have figured out exactly what we should have done to save everyone. That's actually really useful, just go ahead and print that up and fax it over to Sept 10, 2001 at your earliest convienence. 09/09/2003-10:30am | ||
