| in japan, there is no bill less than ¥1000, which is about $8. consequently, i carry my change and spend it everywhere, often down to the last yen. i often have less than a dozen coins in my pocket at any given time. i find many of my friends will not use the ¥1 or ¥5 coins and just keep a pile of them, though. and in the states, i have a bad tendency of just leaving coins around in piles because they're essentially worthless, but in the future I shall try to use them to make exact change for stuff because it's an oddly satifsying feeling. 06/30/2003-6:47am | ||
