and regarding time() * 2, great, that works too, good for "most people." If you get uncomfortable dealing with large numbers like "9", may I recommend practicing on your hands until you get the hang of it. 06/15/2003-7:48pm
I think risk sucks, and I hope all fat people die 06/15/2003-7:47pm
there's really no reason for us to occupy any countries in the americas, as much fun as it is while playing risk... 06/15/2003-7:46pm
there's no way they expected the road map to succeed, i think it just shows them openly rejecting an offer of peace which rationalizes occupying them 06/15/2003-6:33pm
because we wouldn't be internationally justified in doing that 06/15/2003-6:31pm
I dont get it. Why not start with Canada, then head down to Mexico, and then keep on going south. It'd be a hell of a lot easier to maintain control that countries that we border, or at least arent half a world away. Of course, then we have the burden of actually owning Canada and Mexico. Sure, you can call Canada "North North Dakota" but its still filled with hockey loving moose fuckers with french bood. 06/15/2003-5:52pm
i think that bush learned his lesson with the roadmap, which the israelis and palestinians placed on the border and took turns bombing 06/15/2003-3:00pm
probly gonna take over never neverland next, for the pixie dust and pirate's gold 06/15/2003-1:56pm
what country will we take over next? i predict palestine 06/15/2003-8:17am
why are you making me hurt you? i love you 06/15/2003-5:24am
most people use time() * 2 instead of some number with an uncomfortable number of zeros which must be counted 06/15/2003-2:14am
i guess Carolyn's rule about geek conversations does not apply to this comment page 06/15/2003-12:52am
you clearly don't know what you're talking about, let me explain. when you set a cookie, you specify an expiration time. If you don't, it will expire when the session times out. This is useless to me, cause I don't want you to have to pick your default section over and over again. There's no way to say "never expire" so I just set 2000000000 as the expiration time. This is the pretty standard way of setting "permanent" cookies. 06/14/2003-11:44pm
aren't the cookie limits set variably by when you first get them, or did you really make a solid ending time for some reason despite everyone doing it the other way 06/14/2003-9:56pm
